Galesburg Elementary School Golf Program

J.R. Millar, PGA Professional and Ben Olson, PGA Apprentice from Lake Bracken Country Club, in conjunction with the Iowa PGA Foundation, would like to ask for your support in a great new program headed to the Galesburg School District.

The Iowa PGA Swings with Kids program will soon be started in the Galesburg District 205 Elementary Schools. This program will allow for every elementary student to get a chance to have golf in their physical education curriculum. The Iowa PGA and its local members are providing the training needed for the educators to implement the Tri-Golf curriculum into their classrooms.

In order to make this a possibility, we are reaching out to the golfing community asking for your help in funding the project. We are striving for $5,000 in donations to cover the costs of equipment needed to get the program off the ground. The training is provided free-of-charge by local professionals. This allows the program to be brought in AT NO COST to the schools!
